A Message from Aurora

February 13th, 2008

Let me update you on what is going on in the campaign.

Even though I did not have a primary opponent, the result of the primary election was incredible! The democratic turnout yesterday, in what historically has been a republican district, was staggering. With all of the precincts reporting in the 65th district, I garnered 9,875 votes while my incumbent opponent only received 5,139 votes! This, again, is an affirmation that the district is truly shifting and that voters want change and a fresh voice! We have ten months ahead of us. We will continue to build on the momentum so that the November election outcome will look like the primary election result.

I know that I could not have done this without your help and for that, I thank you. This campaign is truly a grassroots campaign and its strength depends on your support and your friendship! I will continue to update you on what is going on in the campaign. In the meantime, we are always looking for volunteers and I look forward to hearing from you.

Onward and upward to the November election!
