She will work tirelessly to provide incentives for businesses to provide healthcare for their employees and make sure that middle class families are able to have access to the healthcare they need.
Aurora truly cares about the elderly citizens of the district. She will address their needs and concerns as well as address the issues facing the children of the elderly who play the dual role of caretaker for their elderly parents and their own children.
Aurora will introduce and support legislation that cracks down on the state’s most dangerous sex offenders and meth dealers, while working to increase funding for police and protection equipment.
As a working mother of two daughters, Aurora understands the importance of providing our children with a world-class education that prepares them for success later in life.
She will ensure that good quality education and funding for good quality education are given priorities in Springfield
Aurora has worked with local residents and elected officials to lure new businesses and help expand the community’s tax base while maintaining smart growth.
Aurora will work with local law enforcement, school officials and parents to help create programs that provide help and alternatives to drug abuse.
Aurora believes the State’s funding formula for local schools needs to be re-evaluated to address the financial woes experienced by local districts despite relatively high property taxes paid by Cook County homeowners
